BHRA Youth Rowing Programs
(registration forms)
Spring (March-June):
Varsity Boys/Girls: A school
supported program for experienced rowers who have
at least 1 year rowing experience.
Freshmen/Novice: A school-supported
program for either 9th grade experienced rowers or
brand new rowers who would like to try out the sport
of rowing for the first time.
Modified Boys/Girls: A
school supported program for 7th and 8th grade students
who either have experience or have never rowed before.
Summer (June-August):
Competitive: A BHRA program
for experienced youth rowers interested in getting
faster and attending selected races over the summer.
Program runs for approx. 7 weeks.
Technique: A BHRA program
for experienced youth rowers who are interested in
improving their technical skills and rowing knowledge.
Program runs for approx. 7 weeks.
Learn To Row: A BHRA program
for new rowers, to learn the basics and see what
its like to get out on the water and have fun. Students
will learn all they need to know and be well equipped
for the fall season. There are 3 sessions of 3 weeks
each.
Fall (Late August-Early November):

program for experienced rowers who have at least

would like to better their knowledge of the sport
and stay in shape in the off season.

BHRA program for either experienced OR new 7th and
8th grade rowers who would like to better their knowledge
of the sport and stay in shape in the off season.
